This was the original cell that started all the buzz when I posted it to youtube about 6 months ago. Some of you were asking if I still had it, yes it sits on display at home.
12v motorcycle battery 12ha approx 45amps, sodium hydro electrolyte, distilled h2o. produces just over 2ltr/min.
Really shows the inward draft created by the rounded lip of the cup. This design was intended to make the bubbles collide with the above ones helping facilitate the electrolytes contact to the electrode. It also creates a upward cycling of the fluid reducing the temperature. Just a few of the many design elements that when put together add up to increased gas production.

Chevrolet 2006 HHR Water For Fuel – HHO Gas Part 2
I am a perfectionist in doing things right the first time. During the demonstration I try to perform the demonstration as if everyone is watching the video was doing it themselves along with me. During my video I try to do things to prevent skepticism. Before I put this welding machine on a trial run on my vehicle I will be using scientific equipment to make sure that there is no sodium hydroxide passing through the tube on a regular basis into the engine. During the demonstration there was a 20 foot hose running from the welding machine to the flashback arrestor an additional 15 foot from the arrestor to the automobile. The flashback arrestor at that moment of time was acting as a fluid separator only allowing the HHO gas pass through it. In addition I will be checking with the Chevrolet dealership electrical department to make sure that the alternator is putting out enough energy to run my electric inverter taking the power from DC to AC to run the welding device. If we cannot run the inverter to the welding machine that we will have to bypass the AC power supply on the welding machine and go into the DC portion of the machine to perform the same functions as if it was plugged into the AC. Before we do that we would try this simple way first using our inverter to simplify the installation.

Everyone knows we need to get off fossil fuels, and we need to do it quickly. Global warming aside, the air & water pollution from other toxins in fossil fuels is killing the planet. Add to this, we’ve gone through half the world’s crude supply in 100 years. China & India’s economies are now bursting online and mimicking the U.S. model. We’ll go through the last oil reserves in less than 50 years at the rate of consumption and projected demands.
650 coal plants are planned in China & India in 10 Yrs, doubling GHG emissions. In light of peak oil & exhausting the crude oil supply in 50 years, & the air & water pollution from petrochemicals, we need to transition to a new fuel source that can (1) Be burned in the ~1 Billion global internal combustion engines with minimal modifications (2) Not pollute the atmosphere with byproducts that damage the environment.
The most popular candidate for a non polluting energy for transportation has always been hydrogen. But the infrastructure for producing & storing hydrogen doesn’t exist & will be costly. Plus you don’t want to produce CO2 during the water electrolysis process, or via steam iron absorbing process. Using solar, wind or clean energy for the electrolysis is essential. You don’t want to make clean energy using dirty energy. Biofuels like sweet sorghum can help too.
Conventional electrolysis to produce separated gasses of H & O takes a great amount of energy compared to the return from burning it in an engine/generator. You’re lucky if you get 30% efficiency. Plus storage of the hydrogen gas is tricky and huge tanks are needed, unless liquefied, which takes a third more hydrogen energy to liquefy. In light of this, a way to electrolyze water and make more gas with less energy is critical to having in onboard water-top-fuel scenario.
The long time dream of filling your car with water & an efficient electrolyzer making a combustible gas from the water is under our noses. The answer is with the Water Fuel Cell. Although, unlike a traditional fuel cell, which mixes gasses & generates electricity, the water fuel cell produces gas from very little energy. An additional circuit called the Electron Extraction Circuit produces a current by pulling off the free electrons in the water gas (HHO), making it a true water fuel cell.
The water fuel cell produces a charged gas of diatomic & monatomic hydrogen & oxygen atoms, and free electrons. In traditional electrolysis the gasses are separated, and an acidic catalyst is added, which must be filtered out of the hydrogen gas. With the water fuel cell, it can turn any water source (such as salt water) into HHO Gas. You can weld with it and cut through just about anything. The gas is used for SCUBA. If burned against nuclear waste, the waste is rendered inert.

A minutes worth of production is stored in a balloon, then diverted into the plenum and only runs the motor for a few seconds. We have a long way to go and it looks like the next step is car computers that are programmed to optimize on HHO Gas.
Why does an array of HHO fuel cells improve gas mileage…only sometimes? Because pure Hydrogen and Oxygen gas (40/60 by volume at atmospheric pressure) enhances combustion efficiency to a point. At some point, the increased heat from hydrogen burning at temperatures similar to 135, car computers respond by dumping more gasoline into the fuel mixture in order to cool the motor. Then mileage goes down.

I have been working on a Dry Cell or SSC (Sealed Series Cell) design for a YEAR now for my mustang. I finally came up with a design that meet and exceeds my design criteria. 1) It has to be capable of 2 Litter per minute or better of production. 2) Draw less than 25 amps while producing 2 Litter per minute. By using two individual cell sandwiched together with the magnetic fields aligned, a spacing of 3/32, and a High electrolyte concentration I was able to meet my goals.
The cell has 14 plates total. They are 6 x 6 inches. The cell draws 35 amps straight DC but is current limited with a constant current PWM set at 21 Amps. The cell reaches a maximum of 110 Deg on a hot day. I am using a digital EFIE set at 0.22 volts added. I do not have any modifications to the MAP sensor. The MAP sensor is frequency based and I can not find a MAP enhancer for my specific application. The Fuel Pre-Heater is still installed and working fine.
I am currently getting 43 MPG Highway. My stock MPG is 28-29 before HHO . The Modification have raised my Fuel Efficiency by 53%. The car drives and runs just like it were stock with the exception that I am not saving money and not producing any pollution as shown at the end of the video.
I know this Technology to be Fact and I Demonstrate that HHO WORK every time I dive my car.

Just going over a new Clam Shell Design put together with rain water, no electrolyte. This is after Annealing of the plates at 1500F then dropping them into cold water to remove magnetism.
The Ultra Sonic Fish Pond Fogger is being used to break up the fine HHO bubble formations and immediately clear up the water. This is bringing the bubbles straight to the surface of the cell. Further measurements will have to be made.
This is another interesting concept that might be able to be used for higher efficiency or production.

In this new video we are using 100% Stainless Steel Pipes & 100% Stainless Steel Bolts and 100% Stainless Steel Nut Caps. Of all the creations I have created this one is the best so far. Just going over a design for a flash back arrestor. Some people have been asking questions related to flash back arrestors when using a hydrogen fuel cell. So here it is. A very easy technique to implement a simple flash back arrestor using fine bronze wool picked up from a local boating supply store. This will be used in future experiments related to a HHO mini torch, and hydrogen heating applications.
There are three known techniques for flash back arrestors that are proven: fine bronze wool, cigarette filter, and a fine (white) fish tank air stone.

Bench test details:
13.6v @ 30A took 30sec to make 1 liter of HHO which is 2lpm. efficiency =4.9mmw. I have had conditioned cells bench test at well over 5.8 mmw using more neutral plates config. I will do another video using 5N plates in a 25 plate cell same configuration to compare efficiencies in mmw.
What i like about 4n is the short time to get to operating temps and you can use less KOH/Ga. to get your amps.
I used 1 tblspoon of KOH/GA. temps were around 100F after 20 min run time. These cells will handle heat pretty good most get to about 140F ater about 5hours of run time at this amperage and can be air cooled to run at 120F.
Production should increase as cells are conditioned on this cell, to well over 2.5 lpm.

I have rebuilt my cell to 5 cells with varied spaces between the cells set up so the negative plates have double spaces and the positives are single.

Since current flows from negative to positive my thought was to allow more space close to the source of current and in turn more room for flow. I’m not sure of my results since all my testing so far has been done with the pump running (RIP), should have my pump by Monday at the latest (I hope) and I will run this test again to get a accurate comparison.
On a side note, after yesterdays experiment I have ordered more plates and gaskets from www.fireinthewater.com to use for high voltage testing. If I can get a good result from that then I’ll purchase an inverter an see it that will get my numbers where I want them.
**Extra note** I tried raising my cell up so that the top was near the bottom of my reservior to shorted the return tube height.
Result: good gas flow but almost zero cycling of the electrolyte.
Conclusion: for convection flow a height difference is necessary. However, at a certain point high output of gas will cause the fluid to separate from the gas in the return tube and fall back into the cell.
And I just like the pump.

Closer spacing = more electrical pressure = more current = more HHO gas released from the surface of your electrodes.
Eficiency is what we are after. The greatest amount of HHO Gas – using the least amount of current; but yet producing enough HHO to improve your cars performance and MPG.
A small surface area can produce a lot of HHO Gas; just increase the electrical pressure. You can do that by increasing the voltage source or by increasing the current by lowering the resistance between the plates.
Electrolytes lower the resistance of the water, there by causing an increase in current flow. The more you add, the better the water conducts.
Closer spacing between the plates lowers the resistance there by increasing current flow.
Again – eficiency is what we are after but Brute Force will make a lot of gas.
