Of late, hydrogen has emerged an alternative fuel in running the car and is becoming increasingly popular because the source of this fuel is water, which is freely available everywhere. Since, water is made up of hydrogen and oxygen, the hydrogen from water is separated through the method of electrolysis, thus acting as a fuel to the car.

In fact, hydrogen does not wholly replace the fuel. A device called hydroxy or hydrogen cell which contains two parts of hydrogen and one part of oxygen feeds into the engine chambers, with the mixture of fuel and air which enhances the burning process. The advantages of hydrogen fuel are endless. The byproduct of hydrogen fuel is only water. Since the hydrogen is extracted and consumed as the car is driven, it is quite safe (keeping in view that hydrogen is a highly combustible gas). With a constant search for alternative sources of energy due to the soaring prices of oil, hydrogen has come as a solution for reasons more than one.

Hydrogen is also a non depleting resource and burns more cleanly than petrol. Scientists are constantly researching to overcome the drawbacks to make the use of hydrogen cars on a large scale. Hydrogen is less expensive than gas or diesel and thus hydrogen cars are designed to offer better mileage than other types of cars. The US government provides tax rebates for hybrid and hydrogen cars which emphasizes the advantages of hydrogen cars.

But some people argue that hydrogen cars are quite expensive and there are not many gas stations for refueling. But these hurdles can be overcome in course of time because the burning problem is the rise in the price of fuel and it is imperative to find and support alternative fuel resources and vehicles that run on them. In this context, hydrogen cars should be welcomed and encouraged to help not only in the economy of an individual but also of the country as a whole.

As a result of this process the gas gets transferred to secondary container which eventually transfers to the carburetor. Hurray! The fuel system is ready and your car is now ready to run on water.

Here are some advantages of your car running with water. If you think your car can face some problem due to this process, then it can be clearly stated as misconception. This water fueling system increased the efficiency and mileage of your car to very high extent. Moreover it is very friendly to environment. Emission is very low and this helps in preventing global warming.

The cost to set up this system is very cheap. You can construct the system by yourself with some inexpensive parts. In a very low investment you can save thousands of dollars that you spend for gas. Just laugh at the increasing gas price once you fix this water fueling system.

This video shows the new configuration for increased HHO flow rates. There is a primary bubbler/reservoir that will stop flash before the cell. That is what blew up in the previous video because my flow was too much for the small diameter tube backflash arrestor. That arrestor works fine for low flow rates until the bubbles inside get too close together.
The new setup includes a primary bubbler, secondary blow off scrubber filled with vinegar, dryer tube with dessicant between bronze wool, flow meter and several check valves before the first primary defense.

This is a newer gen than the previous vid on the same Ford Probe bested so far at 89 MPG (which was achieved on a hot day during a 680 mi road trip). It’s yield is obviously doubled and requires less NaOH. thnx Trin!

I have a 2nd gen installed to the air intake. It should also be noted that my air filter is filthy and is likely blocking much outside air. It is my theory that because of this, the oxygen from the air intake gen is not tripping the MAF sensor and helps explain why my o2 sensor hasn’t been giving me problems.
My average mileage (mountains, some city and hwy)was about 70 MPG during the summer months; but now that it’s getting colder out the mileage is dropping some. With daytime highs around 47 degrees F, it averages around 61MPG hwy and 54 MPG overall.

Four family members of mine have the same setup on theirs (minus the copper tubing); and only two are getting good results.

p.s. My car doesn’t sound like that in person. I don’t know why the camcorder mic went haywire when I turned the engine over on this vid. Refer to my previous video if you don’t believe me.

Just going over a new Clam Shell Design put together with rain water, no electrolyte. This is after Annealing of the plates at 1500F then dropping them into cold water to remove magnetism.

The Ultra Sonic Fish Pond Fogger is being used to break up the fine HHO bubble formations and immediately clear up the water. This is bringing the bubbles straight to the surface of the cell. Further measurements will have to be made.

This is another interesting concept that might be able to be used for higher efficiency or production.

Just going over a design for a flash back arrestor. Some people have been asking questions related to flash back arrestors when using a hydrogen fuel cell. So here it is. A very easy technique to implement a simple flash back arrestor using fine bronze wool picked up from a local boating supply store. This will be used in future experiments related to a HHO mini torch, and hydrogen heating applications.

There are three known techniques for flash back arrestors that are proven: fine bronze wool, cigarette filter, and a fine (white) fish tank air stone.

Bench test details:
13.6v @ 30A took 30sec to make 1 liter of HHO which is 2lpm. efficiency =4.9mmw. I have had conditioned cells bench test at well over 5.8 mmw using more neutral plates config. I will do another video using 5N plates in a 25 plate cell same configuration to compare efficiencies in mmw.

What i like about 4n is the short time to get to operating temps and you can use less KOH/Ga. to get your amps.

I used 1 tblspoon of KOH/GA. temps were around 100F after 20 min run time. These cells will handle heat pretty good most get to about 140F ater about 5hours of run time at this amperage and can be air cooled to run at 120F.

Production should increase as cells are conditioned on this cell, to well over 2.5 lpm.

Seventh in the series. This Video is reloaded due to playing problems.

I have rebuilt my cell to 5 cells with varied spaces between the cells set up so the negative plates have double spaces and the positives are single.

-ssNssNsNsNs+sNsNsNssNss- and so on, **I did try it in reverse with poor results**

Since current flows from negative to positive my thought was to allow more space close to the source of current and in turn more room for flow. I’m not sure of my results since all my testing so far has been done with the pump running (RIP), should have my pump by Monday at the latest (I hope) and I will run this test again to get a accurate comparison.

On a side note, after yesterdays experiment I have ordered more plates and gaskets from www.fireinthewater.com to use for high voltage testing. If I can get a good result from that then I’ll purchase an inverter an see it that will get my numbers where I want them.

**Extra note** I tried raising my cell up so that the top was near the bottom of my reservior to shorted the return tube height.

Result: good gas flow but almost zero cycling of the electrolyte.

Conclusion: for convection flow a height difference is necessary. However, at a certain point high output of gas will cause the fluid to separate from the gas in the return tube and fall back into the cell.

And I just like the pump.

Here we have a Series10 MagDrive HHO gen that has been running 13 hours at appx 14amps at 12 volts DC. You will notice that the unit is fully water jacketed and cooled with a circulation pump and external radiator. This unit produces 3 Liter per/min at 14 amps and can be operated as high as 40 amps and produce 6 Liters per/min while keeping the internal electrolyte and HHO Gas temperatures below 120*F consistantly. Hello Everyone,
Just wanted to jump in and show my progress thus far with my HHO project. To describe the cells, the plates are 316L SS, that are 3.5″ by 7.5″ and 20 awg(0.032″) thick. Just for testing purposes and ease of embly they are held together with hot glue gun glue. They are spaced at 0.050″ by means of two razor blades, 0.025″ each superglued together, positioned at each corner while gluing. Also for comparing gas production, the cell on the LEFT has been sanded on both sides of each plate(except for the positive plates, just the inside), first with 80 grit then followed up with 36 grit. The cell on the RIGHT has not been sanded anywhere. Both cells have been ground to a point, top and bottom, to reduce leakage(idea from ZeroFossilFuel). Both cells are arranged +nnnnn-nnnnn+ (also from ZeroFF). The solution mixture is 1.25 quarts of distilled water with 0.26 oz of KOH(100% flake). Right now I only have to experiment with a PC power supply and a 18v Ryobi rechargeable battery. I do have plans for better power sources. Also have plans for a different container to measure gas production.

There was a question raised about both analog and digital meters missing some of the harmonics of the waveform. I am sure that this is true, so that would mean that my cell meter in fact may be reading low, thus the over unity reading would be higher than I said. Now I am not claiming over unity across the cell, simply it is a series circuit with one amp meter from the P.C. supply and the other is between the mosfet and the cell in the same path, but its 12 volts dc across the whole circuit. PLEASE LOOK AT THE RESPONCE VIDEO from Germany on Pt 2..

Up Date: Reviewing my video, I notice that the cell voltage and current draw was some what low.

The problem was yes I was using the 12 volt PC power supply wires but the switch of the power supply main input voltage was set at 220v ac instead 110 v ac. I do this from time to time because its give another range of voltage for testing. So my test is still valid just readings were low. Current at resonance should have been 7 amps without cooling and 8 amps with cooling.

Check & double check

This is a re-test of the video “Over Unity or What” where I wanted to be sure I wasn’t mislead by my cheap digital meters. On both tests I used three capacitors across the shunts of both types of meters.

1 10 mfd
1 .1 mfd
1 .001 mfd

This allows the meters to see only filtered DC current reguardless of the operating frequency.

There was no change in the reading. You will see that the so called over unity is the same reguardless of using analog or digital meters. It is very important that there is a sharp rise and fall to the square wave.

The next step is to switch from the lab box to my modified David Latwon circuit where I have added a level and DC bias control. I hope to see even better results than before. It that works out, then I will add two more rod circuits in hopes of more current using two more modified Lawton circuits at different resonance frequencies. Beyond that I want to look into replacing the rod and the bi-filiar coil with three “Rodin Coils” driving a copper rod.

People who run their cells at 12 to 14.25 volts have to add many bandaids and the problems are never solved.

lets look at the benefits on three volt operation.

1. Little heat crawl

2. Little amp crawl

3. No cell or electrolyte maintiance

4. Need to refill is less

5. No crud or scrum

6. No foam

7. 60 to 70% less power needed.

8. Smaller gauge wire needed.

9. Safe concentrate of electrolyte.

10. Simple cell design or multi plate dry cell design works along as there are no neutrals

11. NO PWM NEEDED

12. Peace of mind

As a conclusion I have to say that for the sake of HHO Gas production, anything you do basically works!
You can reduce electrolite in the distilled water to lower the amp draw of the cell, you can add a PWM and some how you manage to have a workable cell that can fit your personal needs.

But if you are looking into a high efficiency cell, then there are the Stan Meyer cells with tubes and electronics, and the Lawton’s replication of it.
There is the Joe Cell in shandy mode.
There is daddyo44907 with nice, efficient workable cells.
There is EBN Smart Scare Crow and Zero Fossil Fuel with a super cell
And a the top of the expectation list there is the BobBoyce 101 plates cell whit low amps and it has an alledged output of near 100Liters per minute.

Just got 1.76LPM after another highway run. 13.19V, 29amps, 382W, 4.61 ml/min/watt. 178*F operating temp. Video going up shortly.

When stone cold this morning (about 40*F) it only drew 11 amps at 13.5V. Conductivity rises quickly with temp. Volts drop in later measurements because higher current creates more voltage drop in wires to the cell. Heavier gauge wire would have made the amp rise even more dramatic!

I have been asked to show the embly of my cell, so here it is. Sorry if anything is unclear. I tried to show the basic steps without showing any machining, etc. The pipes are 304 SS, but 316 works well also. Part 3 will be uploaded after the cell is sealed and ready to run.
I insulate the pipes from the Positive lead/screw by first coating the screw with 2 coats of liquid electrical tape. When that is dry, I put electrical shrink wrap tubing on the screw, making sure to leave the end thread exposed for connecting it to the center tube. The holes in the pipes that the positive lead screw passes through are twice the size of the screw, leaving plenty of room for the screw and insulation to fit through……if your holes are aligned.

I have been asked to show how to build spirals. Since for many people it is much easier to buy 1/12 of an inch 316 L Stainless Steel welding wire or a 1/8 of an inch wire,(instead of plates or tubes) I figured that for those of you who do not have the practical skills this video might just be a little hint and a help on how to proceed.
Sorry it turned out a little long but there are so many details needed in order to make it simple and replicable.
My next SUPER CELL is being laser cut these days and I hope to show it to you all in about 2 weeks time……..

This is a new configuration of the housing with the same plate arrangement.I have increased the wire size to #6 stranded copper.I used 5/16 brass bolts and brass nuts and washers at the electrical contact points inside at the stainless conductor strips and outside at the copper wire terminals.I put 1 1/4 inch diameter zinc plated steel washers between 5/16 split ring lock washers to act as cooling fins.I changed the stainless electrical conductor strips connecting the plates to the brass bolts from the 1/2 inch wide strips to a much thicker gauge and about an inch wide strip of stainless.After the run you see here the inside water temp was about 170 degrees F. I dissassembled and inspected the parts to find Heat damage to the home made hdpe washer on the negative terminal on the inside of the housing.This conductor strip is much shorter than the corresponding positive conductor and I believe the positive strip benefited by being cooled by the solution.I also noticed as the solution turned red from what I believe is iron coming from the plates production increased a lot as evident from the increase in flame size and temperature.The climbing temperature of the solution also probably increased the gas output also.

This Super Cell has the size you want it to have. If for your application you discover you need more output, you can stock it up and make a larger cell. I only use a 12 volts car battery as a power source. No PWM’s or any other electronics is used in my experiments yet.
I use pure baking soda as an electrolyte but as soon as I will find KOH I will use that.
THIS CELL HAS 11 PLATES A CENTRAL ONE POSITIVE. 4 NEUTRALS LEFT AND RIGHT AND ONE NEGATIVE END PLATE ON EACH SIDE.

The images in between on the video are from southern Switzerland.

This disign is just a concept I tried to see how it turns out and what can be done. If anyone has a proven better design to share I will gladly look into it if you send me a picture or a design.
The cell is of the type “dry cell”, where the water between two plates does not touch the water between the next two plates, so there is no electrical dispersion.
The plates are out of 1 mm thick 316L Stainless Steel and the neoprene gaskets are 3 mm thick. Both have been cut with laser.
I have to find KOH to use as an electrolyte instead of baking soda.

6th Documented Video Test of a *NEW* DUAL 4 Plate HHO Cell w/ Baking Soda Electrolyte (1/2 teaspoon). Also, the newer design has further been upgraded to weatherproof enclosure, modified with a viewing window for study. Also, since the HHO Electrolyzed bath is now sealed we can continue testing with output verification.

OUTPUT: 30/sec == 500ml, 1/min == 1Liter
AMPERAGE: Cold/25-30Amps, Hot/30-40Amps -estimated-

Further upgraded to the cell Stinger 4-gauge wire with the addition of 8-gauge audio power cables also. With electrician grade heavy duty crimp down connectors, similar to stay-cons.

The actual plates are 98% of the components being stainless steel (non magnetic) screws/bolts to further our experiments. Spacing is around 1/16th of an Inch. This set-up is regarding a dual 4-plate config, store bought from Home Depot.

Baking Soda is our electrolyte. The plates are configured to be 2+(pos) and 2-(neg) .. or can be switched around.

This video currently contains the upgrade via stainless steel wall-plates/covers from home depot, where before we were using a 5-plate set-up from lowes. Also have a video shot of the new hydrogen measuring device for output in action. Measuring milliliters/liter(ml/l) output per minute/hour rate/ratio.

The measuring device will move 500ml to the other empty tube, once timed will give us our output on the hydrogen cell design.

Stay tuned to more of my videos, soon to be car installation. Possibly even a secondary upgraded 120Amp/200Amp alternator dedicated for HHO production.

The percentage improvement I reported in this video was an anonymily based on one tankful. In reality the average MPG didn’t change all that much WITH THE CELL PRODUCING GAS AT FULL ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE.

But, please don’t let this discourage you. Current experiments producing HHO under vacuum are showing incredible promise. Keep watching and see. This is really getting good now.

First mileage test results are in. 20% increase with no other mods!!! When test started three weeks ago, current @13.8v was ~15A. When measured today it was 6.4A, meaning the electrolyte concentration was depleated over time. Added exactly 2 grams NaOH to restore 15A @ 13.8V.

New spiral cell + test of all cells. The spiral is handmade and absorbs about 32 amps (12 volts) and when I have the casing active it goes to 44 amps but the production remains comparable to the 32 amps: I am realizing that good building skills and equipment are a nice thing to have, but in hydroxy production once the cell is perfect unless you are connecting it to a sofisticated fine tuned electronically advanced electric system you go nearly nowhere, you remain stock.
So now I will learn as much as I possibly can in order to build an optimized cell and then I will go about hooking it up to the best electronical solutions I can find and balance the two tings together.
With all the help I am getting from so many people who care I am sure I can come much closer to this goal.
