This was the original cell that started all the buzz when I posted it to youtube about 6 months ago. Some of you were asking if I still had it, yes it sits on display at home.
12v motorcycle battery 12ha approx 45amps, sodium hydro electrolyte, distilled h2o. produces just over 2ltr/min.
Really shows the inward draft created by the rounded lip of the cup. This design was intended to make the bubbles collide with the above ones helping facilitate the electrolytes contact to the electrode. It also creates a upward cycling of the fluid reducing the temperature. Just a few of the many design elements that when put together add up to increased gas production.

The only way to test if it’s actually better is not by what it looks like in its canister…you need to see if more hho gas comes out of the tube into your bubbler… i believe the 1/4 hole may be a good idea,but placing cell upside down probably will not produce more output… the only way to tell is testing using same eletrolyte mixture and power suppy…good luck

Have you considered turning the cups upside down and drilling a 1/4″ hole in the center of each cup for exhaust. If you build the cell with the cups upside down, you might be able to take advantage of chambering/stacking. This will keep force the HHO from one cup to the next, until it comes out of the exhaust port of the top cup. I’ve played around with this design and it gives me a more intense and focused stream of HHO.

You can download a diagram for this cell. Google “twisterhho3″ and you will find it. It’s a google sketch up file, download google sketch up and you can see a 3D CAD like drawing. I just build a 4 cup cell, and have 6 more cups to add to mine. It works great!
One thing about the diagram, don’t use spacers like it shows. Use nylon washers for the spacers. You want the cups as close as possible without touching…

Thanks for the updated comment, however, Walmart quit selling them in our area, that is why we switched to instawares. We have already abandoned the cup design. It was too difficult/time consuming to place neutral cups…haha. Anyway, thanks for the info, dude!

By the way I just bought 50 of the cups from instwares. At first they appear to be very good per metal quality, but after testing them with magnets I found they are very high in iron content. This will contribute to the degredadition of the cups per reverse plating.
My advise is to avoid using those cups and stick to the walmart specials.

Also…we all know that you can “fake” huge gas output on video by dumping tons of KOH or NAOH into your H20, and running it long enough to produce a couple liters of HHO in a minute. The real science is maintaining that output with minimal amperage and heat. 45 amps is simply too high. I have made electrolyzers for over 10 years, now, and just joined youtube. It amazes me the amount of buz this technology has produced recently. And yeah, I’ve used condiment cups in some of my designs.
